    I’m wondering… why is IDN not supported?
    See my newly created http://www.øde.net for example. A lot of people get confused by the punycode in the location bar. They get suspicious and think something is wrong, or that something fishy is going on. I would like my domain to be shown properly, please.

    Cato: because the “.net” registry has not applied to be added to the whitelist of top-level domains which have IDN displayed correctly in Firefox.

    You should contact them and ask them to publish the relevant policies and then make an application.
