I pretty much adore the Web as an SDK idea.
*What about bringing the mobile web to the billions of people in the developing countries / emerging markets?
I am from India and here the mobile userbase is very high & growing but the web is too expensive to browse the AJAX,flash enabled sites. Here we have iphone and the latest mobile phones from every company. The general trend about developing countries is that a new product grows very rapidly if it is useful rather than attractive.I guess a slow connection mode or mobile mode in the browser itself would be advantageous in such cases instead of the site offering a html or a separate mobile version(I don't know if it is possible).

Hey Mitchell,

I think that this is the first time that you've mentioned generative web on this blog - can you elaborate on what you mean?

I was hoping to read more on people's thought on which markets the mobile goals are for. What areas and groups do we think that we are most able to serve (or are most interested in serving?)

Also, I'd love to get feedback on my post at http://groups.google.com/group/mozilla.governance/msg/421bcdec7bb66860
