Hello Mitchell,

Jan Claeys from Ubuntu Women pointed me in your direction because I am also an aerial acrobat on trapeze, silks and ropes, in a Contemporary Circus troupe called Mists of Time. I am also a developer working on some projects for Ubuntu, and a semi-pro indie film maker.

I am sorry to have missed your live video on building the Open Web. I tried to find it on air.mozilla.com but it told me my browser was old and broken :-(

I am particularly interested in the Open Web because for a few years now, I and some friends have been trying to get some networking sites up and running for our community arts interests and organisations.

To get an idea of some of my interests please take a look at my blog on "Ubuntu And The Art Of An Aerial Acrobat" at http://helen-mccall.blogspot.com/

Best wishes, Helen McCall

Hi Mitchell, it is great to see that you brought in Jesse Dylan and Elizabeth Stark - they are definitely touching on some of the themes I've been blogging about re: the Open Web as a Social Movement and also here. Did the presentation get archived? It would be great to watch.
